In order to facilitate a safe racing environment we have come up with the following distancing and hygiene rules:
Athletes can only check in to the transition area according to the scheduled times. Please arrive on time.
Wear your bib number for the bike and run
Attach your timing chip to your ankle before the race
Athletes should not leave any valuables in their bags at the transition area. The race organizers do not take responsibility for lost items
Swim
No body marking. Athletes will receive a swim card with their race number, start time and start sequence in the race pack. Please take to the swim start
Athletes must keep count of the laps themselves
Any overtaking must be done safely.
BIKE
Helmets are compulsory. No helmet no race
Athletes must wear their helmets before leaving the transition area
Athletes mount their bikes on the left hand side of the road and must be cautious of bikers already racing on the road when they start
Keep to the left of the road when biking, pass on the right, keep far right when passing, and shout “on your right’ when passing
NO DRAFTING
Athletes dismount the bike on the left-hand side of the road at the bike finish and run their bike into transition
Athletes must keep count of the loops themselves
No earphones on while biking
Tops are compulsory
Run
Long Dash and Dash athletes will be running the big run loop of the outer lane of the bike course (turn left after the transition area to start the run)
Mini Dash athletes will be running the small run loop (turn right after the transition area to start the run)
Athletes must keep count of the loops themselves
No earphones on while running
Tops are compulsory
Athletes take off timing chip themselves and drop-in bin
